    Speed up torrents?

    Anyone know any tips or tricks to speed up torrent downloads? I know that limiting the download rate instead of having it be unlimited helps, but are there any other things i could do to speed my downlaod up? Last night i was downloading something at 1.5 mb/s. Now i'm downloading something at 9.7 kb/s -_- any help?

    limit your upload limit to 5 kb's and put your download on like 2000 and make sure the torrent has plenty of seeds n leechers
    thats about all you really can do without plugins(bittorrent has a couple that'll help the speed and the amount of seeds n peers you can access)

    Torrents with 200+ seeders will make it go fast. Change your port to 43594 or something close to that I'll get back to you on that. Make sure nothing is running but the torrent and hide it in the taskbar.

    What are some good ones? My torrent is active. I'm using bittorrent.
    Now it's around 150 kb/s, 36 seeds, 7 peers, 627 mb completed out of 4.43 gb, an hour and 9 minutes in with 9 more hours to go -_-

    You have 36 seeds brah. Unless one of those seeds has a beast fucking upload speed, you are going to have to deal with slow speeds on dead torrents.
