The PROPER way to "/Request ban"

Too many times I look into a reported advertising thread only to find 5-10 people posting "OMG ADVERTISING, /REQUEST BAN!", while only one person actually reported the post/thread. (Believe it or not, we do look through reports, each and every one.)

What you SHOULD be doing is reporting the advertising post and then just ignore it, we will take care of it. It's as simple as clicking a button and typing a word or two into a text box, thats all you have to do, and everyone who has moderation powers of the section will receive an email about it.

Moral of this unorganized story is: Report & Ignore

He's right tho.. its the most efficient way to handle spam/advert threads.
