Get the fuck out of my torrents. I'm trying to download Dead Space 2, and it has hardly broken 100kbps, let alone the 700 its supposed to be near.

I realize fresh torrents like this take a while, but BO was downloaded overnight, and ther was less than 1000 seeds when I got done (dat means I wuz one of the first 1000 people to pirate it. that meakes me special) There is more than 2500 seeds on this and the average download is 20kbps.

Not necessarily, it could just be used a completely normal way of downloading.

The most common usage of torrents, though, is to download illegal software, videos, games and such. (I, my self do the same. )

So, no. Torrent's ain't illegal. Downloading stuff you haven't bought is illegal. .

If it means anything, I started a download for a bluray rip of a movie, and it finished downloading faster than DS2 went up .5% Since I posted this last night, it went up from 30% to 50%.

And I wish more people would use bittorrent. I like it a helluva lot better than normal downloding. Resumable downloads, faster downloads, its just a lot better.

Steam somewhat mimics this with their download system as well.
