Served me well but it's time to get a desktop capable of high-end gaming and just keep the laptop as a backup.

bout a year and a half.
my mum bought it so i could do home work. turns out it was ok for gaming

Yeah, it was.
The only problem with it is the CPU always overheats. I want to pull it apart and put some real thermal compound on it but it will void the warranty.

Its better than my pc, thats why i primarily use my laptop.

Intel Pentium 4 @ 3.20Ghz
1GB Ram
320GB HDD
128Mb ATI Radeon x720 (or some old shit like that, i know it was an old AGP card though)
