seeing as how they got off topic here ill post why i believe in god:

I personally am a Roman Catholic (no i dont have a tail, no im not a bigot, no im not a republican). I was raised in an irish-catholic family so you know im what you could call a caddle catholic, yet around 13-16 i viewed myself as an athiest, at first (13-14/15) then at (15-16) i believed in a god, but not sure what kind...and i began looking at buddhism. I became a moderate buddhist but still didnt feel quite complete. When i was about 16 and a half i started questionin the catholic faith, and opened the bible and started reading (yes from the first page) and i started to have questions, questions google couldnt answer. so i called up my friend (he's catholic and attending an Ivy Grad school) and started asking him (hes quite informed) and i got into discussions with him for hours, upon hours about faith, explained to him my qualms, what i agree'd with etc. Now, i believe in god, but i also try to adhere to a buddhist philosophy. i still question faith but i do believe in god.

its kinda rambly (its 4am) and im open to discussion, not ignorant arguements but if you have a serious discussion/question for me im open to all of them.

im an odd mix ill admit Im a Democrat/Buddhist/Catholic it works though
