Is the XM-8 Worth it?

I've seen a lot of people with the XM-8 and they say it rocks. It's only around for a limited time and if it's good I want to get it before it's to late. So is it? Or if it's not worth it to buy maybe I could just get a mod or something. Anyway, Tell me if any of you have used it or have it and like it and if you think it's worth it and why so I can decide whether to buy it or just mod my M16A3 to look like it.

I would buy it because people have said its like the G36e with less recoil. Everyone says G36E is overpowered , so there you go

actually it has higher recoil and i dont feel like this gun is like the G36E,
its more like a rec 7 rangers or m417 sb, pretty high recoil with less damage then G36E, i wouldnt recommend u to buy it permanent, because it isnt really worth it.
all the ppl saying it's the best gun are liar, u all know how it sux to hit the enemys like 5 or 6 times to get a kill.
most of the ppl who say this gun is great are doing this because they have bought it for permanent: "my gun = good, yours = sux"

No it doesn't, the recoil of the XM8 is FAR less than that of the G36. Most people are not saying it isn't the best gun, but it clearly the top of the line compare to most. In fact, most people are viewing the XM8 as the only gun that can compete with the G36E.

I don't have problems killing enemies, if enemies are taking THAT LONG to kill, than it you, not the gun. I did tests and the G36E and the XM8 is a 3-4 shot kill with a DIRECT hit, because you don't get a direct hit a lot, it'll take 4-5 to take people down. That's common for A LOT of guns anyways.

LOLWHUT? It has MUCH lower recoil. You can go full auto for like 4 seconds before you got to let it cool off. Furthermore, for the first 3-4 shots, it recoils on a y-axis, making it easier to score hs. Plus the difference between the g36 and xm-8 in terms of damage is only 4 points. So either way, it's going to be a 3 shot kill. If it takes you that long to kill the enemy, you obviously suck at aiming. So go back to training ground and do target practice.
