I believe there is life somewhere else, it would surprise me and a lot of people if there wasn't.
But unless we can change or defy the laws of physics, we can never communicate with them. Besides, the don't know English, they might not even speak..
So how do you think Religion would be affected if the existence of other intelligent life was proven?
Do you think it could end organized religion?
Or at least have a massive impact to the point where millions of people stop believing in God?
Most importantly, do you guys believe that Aliens exist?

If 2 thousand years of progress hasn't convinced people then I'd be surprised if ET would have much of an impact.

it suprises me how people havent seen the History special on aliens and religon. /derp
The Catholic Church actually released that ET life would be A-OK with them and that we werent only gods creations.
Many people believe that majority of religons began with alien life forms
(look up dogon tribe in africa, might be wrong spelling and then theres evidence of native peoples in S. Pacific islands who built mock wooden airplanes after WW2 because we would air-drop supplies to them and they believed it was a god)

It will increase conversions to Islam.
What does Islam say about Aliens?

"predictions" by religious books are pretty lame when it really has nothing to do with anything relevant.
Like the quran "predicted" scientific breakthroughs, lulz.
