I know because it can be that some settings are changed.but like I told you,Ping is related with the internet although some programs can slow the internet rate.

Drop it, you said windows updates shouldn't affect ping... They do, Idk what you are trying to say in your broken english, but yes new programs can screw up your connection and yes windows updates do install new programs. Just drop it.

Some of the updates are really cool. Don't completely turn off. Just set it to notify you. Then you can manually install the ones you are interested in.
