Steam fail, nothing works. (aIW)

1. Make a Backup of Profile folder
2. Download the Mw2 from Alteriwnet
3. Delete the entire MW2 folder
4. Unzip Mw2 (the one you got from Alteriwnet)
5. Copy the BackUp Profile folder into the new Mw2 folder and replace if have too
6. Run alterIWnet_configure.exe as admin setup your name
7. Then run iw4mp.exe and it should run

Note: Sometimes if it still get "Steam Authorization Failed" then repeat the steps but DO NOT START iw4mp.exe. Wait till the next day and then try RUNNING it. I hope this helps.

now i used a hax and deleted all log files but when i run mw2 and connet to my private server the "cannot kick host player" showed up and on another server Steam Authorization Error so i think not way and w8 for next day..!!

Idk if I can post in here, but I have this same problem, yet I'm not using hacks. I backed up my profile and ever since then I get the error. I tried deleting the logs, re-installing the game, even starting a new profile. Nothing works. Any help?

Nevermind, I looked at a thread on alteriw.net and deleted the 5 log files and it worked.

I'm not sure which language that was but I think that he got banned without playing or that he didn't use his wallhack to shoot through the walls..
