cross modding question

if you use this cross modding tut https://www.mpgh.net/forum/211-combat...-crossmod.html does the weapon youre cross modding to change in stats to the weapon youre trying to mod it to.
Also do you have to use anibase or ani_g files will also work when cross modding. thanks and is it possible to add the scope back on the a crossmodded sniper rifle.
