Halo Series review.

Halo1: Best story, best split-screen.
Halo2: Best online.
Halo3: Best map customization.
-Really all these halo's were quite solid in their own right. Except for taking out blood gulch in halo3's multi, i'd say each one is damn good for its time. Only halo1 and halo2 are still classics though.

Halo ODST: Shit. Absolute fucking garbage. No. Fuck that , it was below shit. Nothing new storywise, not even a new multiplayer, night-vision and a silenced smg? Why the fuck would you silence the weakest fucking gun in the game. And you can't dual it. Fuck is that shit? The entire single player is easily summarized. Play halo 3 on one difficulty harder(Because your marine dies faster), take out the flood, and remove any epic characters and replace them with generic meatshields you used in the previous halos.

Halo Wars: Actually, one of, if not the best strategy on 360. Thats not sayin much but w/e. The game was alright, not much "strategy", it was really just "build a group, assault something, you win."


Halo Reach: Shit.
1. Story wasn't good. Had no familiar faces just like ODST, and there is no flood. Great, so i'm fighting the same dumb ass fucking elites the whole fucking game. Thats shit in itself. Then you get to the parts where you have to do shit like "go to this objective, push a button, go to the next objective" really? Really bungie? Your making me do that of all things?
2. Multiplayer was also shit.
a) Connection loss/host quit shit.
b) Some spawn classes were obviously better(spawn with sword, shotgun, etc.)
c) Spawning on your team mate, or an area that you are 90% likely to get shot at on spawn.
d) Taking out the BR spam was a good idea, until they said "on game modes not labeled Team BR's, you can still spawn with one"
e) Certain skills were easily broken, armor lock, and jetpacks especially.
f) i actually got more, but you can see my point.

Is it using the same engine as the other halo games?
-Yes: Its shit. No:

Is it a strategy game on the 360?
Yes: WHO THE FUCK DOES THAT.

I agree with almost everything. ODST was bad, but I think it was more hardcore-ish than the others. You have to admit, halo is more of a fun based game. I haven't been able to play the reach campaign, but I love the online play BESIDES that host bullshit. With the sword and shotgun classes, you only see those in certain gametypes. Not like you'd see a sword in 2v2. I think if you paid a lot of attention to its storyline it might explain why they didn't add things, because you have to remember that this is a seriously story based game.

Only Reach had any relevance, and even then it wasn't really anything much. Hell it didn't even explain the origin.

Halo 123 have good stories all around.

All the others.......are just made up shit, just like the star wars series.

I only started getting into more hardcore mutliplayer games when halo 3 was out, otherwise it was all just for fun, so idk. Maybe it was better, I just never noticed.

Personally I loved all halos. To get the story you really have to think. Odst was during halo 3 I think and reach was before combat evolved. I do find it messed up to put it out of order because then a lot of people don't get it. Oh and btw empire, was the space battle gameplay any good? As you know, I haven't been able to play a lick of campaign.
