Post thread.
No communication in between.
It's very limiting and completely takes the personal feel away from art. This is why I don't do collabs very often, but the ones I am doing, I'm doing with Kyle or Evelyn, and we're TALKING about things to make and steps to take.
Kyle and I have spent AT LEAST an hour or two looking at elements of /3 work to try out.
Not to mention going back and forth a number of times with the .psd, and changing things NOT because the other doesn't like it, but because we both have a common goal, and a level of knowledge to reach it.
That's a collaboration.
The classic "you start, I finish" routine is rather amateur to be frank.
Unfortunately I have to post this on mobile because my mobo was raped, so I can't really speak for my activity with collabs, or MPGH for that matter.
Also taking into account that Kyle's GONE, for fuck's sake...
But I digress.
That's my opinion.
I've realized that in art, especially art forums, there's a large gap between the big guys and the little guys, with few in between.
But whether or not you're in one of those groups isn't based solely on skill, if you catch my drift (in spite of the ranking system, which I think is somewhat flawed in it's over-usage and sense of self-grandeur it gives to a few).
I'll be straight, you should have joined the big boy group a while ago.
