Physics Game Brainstorming (Input your ideas)

I'm trying to think of a simple PHYSICS based game idea. This game will likely be ported to iPhone/Android, so it should only involve one finger touch.

I want to restrict the theme to removing blocks to achieve a certain objective, as this would take the least amount of time with my engine already setup and tested to be working, however I'm still open to other GOOD ideas.

    What I've Seen:
    1. Removing blocks to make a certain blocks fall off the screen. (Red Remover)
    2. Removing/splitting blocks to make all the blocks under a certain height. (Demolition City)
    3. Removing blocks without letting an object touch the ground. (Totem Destroyer)

With that being said, I am open to ideas. I have a couple ideas, but yesterday a guy commented on one of my games and it partially blew my mind (I was thinking... why didn't I think of that?). So the question is, who has a good idea?

(Not everyday someone is willing to make a game based on your idea )

By posting you agree to surrender your idea to me for ingame credits. Else shut the fuck up.

    How about tilt AND touch?
    Code:
    Have a character running down.

    Have blocks you CAN'T break.

    Have blocks you CAN break.

Moving is due to tilt, and tapping on the screen removes the blocks you can destroy. Farther down, higher point.

    Okay this took a while to formulate I hope it's possible and what you are looking for;;

    Overview

You control a character, Let's say a stick figure for the move simplicity. Gray background (Light gray) and blue or "Normal" colored bricks. The blocks are slowly (At first) going down like a platform and it is your job to move up onto them to avoid from falling down!

    Movements? Press to jump!

    Wheres the difficulty in this?

Not only do you need to avoid falling down - But these blocks slowly crumble after you step onto them (blocks being removed). Every jump you take and survive is points added towards your "High Score". The higher up the levels (Or points you gain) the faster these blocks start plummeting down.

Here's an extra- Blocks that are colored differently explode - They don't explode your character but they destroy the blocks around you leaving you helpless.

It would be just constantly scrolling blocks

    Same background if you need

    Simple colors

    3 stages of the blocks

    One normal

    One with cracks

    Gone.

    3 Types of blocks

    Normal Crumble

Safe blocks (don't crumble - But you can't stay on them too long - they are still heading down)

    Explode blocks

Distinguished only by a simple color change. Maybe a little quick tune to make it seem more rushed.

I hope this is what you are looking for.

There's also a Glow Version for the iPhone

But there are already powerups in Doodle Jump

Thanks for your ideas, good suggestions, but I think you guys misunderstand.

This is a physics based game, not a platformer. Platformers don't require a physics engine, just rudimentary collision detection.

For example, firing a cannon at a wall and the aftermath is using a physics engine. Angry Birds is a physics engine, Crush the Castle is a physics engine.

I'm talking about things like that, where you use physics to benefit you.

Here's an example of what I can do with a physics engine: test.swf

What I'm thinking of doing right now is more along the lines of firing a cannon at specific objects to make a certain object follow a trajectory, or something. Not sure ATM.

What about making a house of bottles and it's your mission to take them down with fewest possible shots

Your little "test" Gave me a great idea.

    Overview

    Its a skill game.

Kind of based off of a "Domino" effect. You are given a ball- Or maybe depending on the level a few of them.

You must destroy block(s) placed in specific ways. Say You place one block to roll off a line and this hits into another block and they are "Thrown off their platform".

    Example;

    Level 1

One ball rolling down to hit one block - Points!

    Ect...

The levels get harder with less balls and more blocks to hit.

Some levels you actually hit the plane and it teeter totters - hit into other blocks "Combo"

Some just smash into the blocks, Ect...

    Movements?

Click where you want to place your block.

Also the first plane of that image should be slanted sorry but I am about to head off - I'm sure you get the concept.

Just had an idea - If you want to make it more appealing to the modern day teenager - You could always have the Balls crush stick figures

Certain obstacles could be like vertical lines - To ricochet off of , Semi circles, Loops, "opposite ends" Ect.

Like I said just the outline.
