Don't activate the pin, they cannot, and to be sure, text them back saying

"Cancel"

they should not charge you if you say cancel
but the offer might fail if you cancel it

if you read the fine print it says something like "by activating this offer you will be charged $5 a week"

i am not sure , but thats what cancel generally means
