make a new layer go to filter -> Render filters -> Difference Clouds -> Set the layer options to overlay.

That should looks better...

It needs better lighting as said erase the effects over the render the fire itself looks really nice but only by itself not used in this sig

It doesn't.
All overlay layers like this ever do to colors is saturate and contrast the hell out of them.
Not your fault though.
Keep experminting with the effects from scratch, it's a good thing to incorporate.

dont place them in the dead centre
both of the ones in mine are off centre
