Hey all i bought a nintendo ds + r4 card a few years ago and i found it again with my old pokemon files. then somebody told me there was a new pokemon
Black and White. So i searched a little bit and i got a rom installed it on my r4 but my screen stays white. anybody knows how to fix this

This game have some anti-iracy software, I have it here too but don't work like you.
Try find a fix for that on google, I tried a few some here and maybe can work with you.

Probably the rom isn't working. Get a different download

Also reading your post again, I seen you get R4, you should get another card, R4 isn't so trustable, get AceKard, is much better.
