DS2 doesnt work

i bought Dungeon Siege 2 and my comp meets requirements but when i start it up it loads then that silver liquid microsoft sign comeos up like on any other microsoft made game but then it says Gather exeption data and after that, one of though errors come up that say send error.. if anyone else has same problem or knows how to fix it could u help me plz?

i had the same problem with one game but i said screw this and took it back

it saves alooot of time lol
