Linear dodge? /
well, hey guys, i was browsing on some forums, and found someone with a really cool signature!!

but my question is:
How do ya call effects kinda like these, like 2 images splashing into eachother....
someone who knows how it's called, so i can google it..., or a tut...
The effect is rather simple. All you have to do is get like the two images and a background.
Make the background or do whatever you're going to do. Then You past one image on the background and then the other on top on another layer. Position them in a way where they are touching.
Now by looking at this I can tell this was done the easy and less detailed way so I will explain how to do that. All you would need to do is find some C4D renders or fractals or anything that would give off that sort of explosive look and just put them on the area where they over lap. Generally you just want to cover that area up so it doesnt look like one is just over the other one. Depending on how it looks i would put the explosive image layers on linear dodge or something (play around with it)
Not too hard.
just follow some tutorials, there are enough tutorials about meteor effects...
