You can get MW2 for free by download aIW, which is also the server thats hosted on, infact if you had the "purchased" version, you couldn't play at all.

Well really there is not much stopping someone from uploading a virus there, as they are less stringent on the rules, so its mostly debatable. Also, the link leads to a post that just sends you to another link.
