Render is from the game Prototype. Not AC.
I think I went a liltle overboard on the fractals & the smudging , but CNC please.

@Ethereal, Played AC, i know, doesn't make it a bad render , nor change the title of the thread
Oh, Gotcha . Thought You meant from a prototype of the game

yeah the confusing name is like lol roflbbq que? need some better titles
the compo of the render isnt reall good, it doesnt have a real placement that when u see it u go daum he placed that shit well, kinda wat u get with a BLANE tag
u shoulda either made the whole bg smudge, or u shoulda made it all the stock, the change doesnt work for you
the effect c4ds shoulda followed the flow a bit better of the render, to add to the over all effect
u need a light source, the lighting isnt definite on the render or the rest of the tag, i recomend trying out amanda's lighting tag, though dont go over board with the colour dodge
other than that work on basics such as flow, lighting, depth and blending
also try and put some emphasis on compo and atmo, and getting that real pop fealing into ur tags

Render position doesn't fit so well.
May use a bright c4d and it looks awesome
I give it a 7.5/10 ~ 8/10

Colors could be better.
It doesn't look bad just lacks a few extra things that give it that wow factor. I briefly read over everyone else's comments and I won't go off about placement.
The one things I did notice however is the render, it's not a good choice. The render itself has strange focus points but for the most part I'm more drawn to the actual person than to the giant sword thing. However in your piece because you cut off the body (which was necessary) the stressed focus kind of switches to the sword. Depending what you're aiming for this could be a good thing or it could be a bad thing. Imo I try to stick to a person or something for a render unless I'm doing something abstract. Another thing that draws the attention away is the fact that most of the effects are around the blade, maybe try adding something near the guy if that is your main point of interest.
