so I finally downloaded Sony Vegas 10
AND it works
but
the rendering is just pathetic
the quality is like a piece of shit
anyone knows how to solve this? codecs or anything?

Vegas compresses videos a huge amount when it renders. You can make things much better by using 1028 x 720 resolution or higher, MPEG4 file type, highest quality etc.
However, you'll most likely never get the same quality of what you started with.

maybe your resolution is too small as obama said 720p is the way to go and it does compress a huge amount when rendering. so make your comp 720p.

I read the thread. Not much else to read in this forum unfortunately.

When you say codec, do you mean the template or what?

NVM. You used fraps to record right? And you are just trying to render a fraps clip from vegas?

The only codec i've installed on my computer is the xvid and divx ones
