First, what CS?
Second, what functions?
Third, why?

All in all, its a matter of playing with stuff. Start with a new (File>New) Blank document, fill it with black using bucket, and then play around with filters. Soon ull find some stuffyou like and then u can incorporate it into a cool picture.

Ive used Photoshop cs3-5 and flash cs3-5. Personally, I think flash cs3 is more user friendly and same with cs3. However, Photoshop CS5 (bunny) pwns all.
