    Removing Linux from dual boot menu

    guys im on xp and other day i was bored and wanted to see how linux was and i didnt really like it so i wanted to remove it, so i deleted wibi.exe and the linux .iso file but it still came on the dualboot menu, then yesterday i installed windows 7 on a seperate partition so i can dual boot xp n windows 7 but ubuntu still appears how do i remove ubuntu?

    i already went on command promt and enter bootrec /fixmbr and bootrec /fixboot

    Which bootloader are you using? If you don't need GRUB just restore the Windows one, if you want GRUB for some reason just edit the config files. In any case, the simplest way to edit a BCD bootloader: Download EasyBCD 2.0.2 - NeoSmart Technologies

    You see an option to restore the Windows BCD bootloader and an option to configure it. 1+1=2.

    sos it took me so long to answer

    i fixed it now i went to boot.ini and i saw something with ubuntu so i just removed it and now when i start pc all i get is windows 7 or xp now
