Sam, love the blues and reds in this one man. Great color use.
Only thing that I'm not feeling here is the bg behind the render.
around where the light source is. Looks rather flat looking and the quality is a bit rough.
I personally would have ran the blur tool over it at like 20% then tried to get some more vibrant lighting going.
Cut looks pretty decent.

thats cause its on mpgh's light bg, check it on fringe looks better, i work with a solid black surround in ps so trust me its not solid black
