New Belkin modem, now wireless internet is slow?

Before when I had my Dyna-Link wireless modem, the speeds were averaging 150+kilobytes/s. The internet started fucking up, so I bought a new modem, a Belkin one, and now it's slow as fuck. The "normal speed" in the traffic statistics says that it's 29kb/s.
It takes approximately 5 minutes to load a 2 1/2 minute youtube video.

When I downloaded torrents before with a lot of seeders from Demonoid, the speeds would be 400kb/s.
    Now, the max is 109kb/s.
Anyone tell me what the fuck to do? I'm pissed as hell, can't play any online games with this slow ass speed

And what if you just use wired internet, instead of wireless?
