I had ZERO issues getting this to work in Vista. <shrug>
I didn't even need the guide.
If you don't know how to run as admin and turn off User controls then you should probably lose vista, it will only haunt you unless your willing to learn how to use and disable functions when you need to.

Well first, Combat Arms isn't working at the moment. And if it didn't work, try redoing the steps when the CA servers are back online.
