its patched for me. I have windows xp home edition and it crashed upon launching the 2nd game. All hacks have been acting this way since i installed xp home edition. I formerly had xp professional, i'm wondering if this is just a coincidence/

For me it wasn't working either. But I noticed the game said it was missing d3dx9_43.dll, which I recalled never happened until I tried loading the hack, which means it wasn't Engine.exe that needed it, but BlackCipher.dll speaking through Engine.exe, point is google d3dx9_43.dll if u have the same prob, and download and put in Combat Arms folder.
