I need your opinion.

Simple question:
What do you think about glasses? Do they necessarily make you uglier/different than the others? Should wearing glasses change someone's opinion about you? Are they something to laugh about? I have a friend in my class who gets laughed at for wearing glasses. It's not that the glasses are bad on him, quite the opposite, it's just the fact that he's wearing them.
He was totally awesome before he wore glasses, but now when he says "hi" everyone is like "yea, whatever dude".
Answer with no trolling/flamming/hating please. I will take notes of the results in a public school poll/project I'm doing.

Some people can pull it off, and some people can't. Normall whenever you see someone with glasses before you see them without... they look much much more different. Sometimes worse than they did with glasses.

Have you ever even tried wearing contact lenses? Not annoying at all. I wear them myself. At first it looks and sometimes feels disgusting, but you'll eventually get over it.
