HackShield

HackShield is a anti-hack software developed by AhnLab Inc, a Korean security solutions company. It has been available game onelineene since 2005.
AhnLab’s HackShield for Game Online 2.0 prevents various hacking tools which
threat fair play of game players, and secure operation of the game service so that it can
keep customer stay and enjoy the game.

Main functions

• Speed Hack Detection : Detects speed hacks which change game speeds and affect game result.
• AutoPlay Detection : Detects macro, auto hunting, auto mouse, and H/W auto play run by USB.
• Memory Hacking Blocking : Blocks memory access into game process. Monitors execution code running on the memory in real time.
• Debugging Detection : Blocks all debugger tracing which may analyze game programs and launch hacking attacks.
• Server-side detection : Detects of Hackshield manipulation game client execution files and memory.
• Data File/Message Encryption : Encrypts major data files and messages exchanged between the server and the client.
• Real-time Decryption of Game Execution File : Decrypts encrypted execution file and directly loads the file to the memory in order to protect the game client from hacking attacks.
• Monitoring System : Monitors hacking and error state in the game client in real time, and produces various reports.
• Automatic Update : Automatic update of the HackShield module through the HackShield Update Server.
