    To my knowledge this isn't illegal. It just re-directs the website minecraft uses to verify a user.

    Not like it matters since you're bad, but you can't play the game without having it first. They don't distribute the game, it just lets you play servers hosted by someone else. If you don't have the actual minecraft client, then you wont be able to play with this.
