edited. well i want to use steam instead of alter so can i just do this Section B - How to install

Install MW2 from you install discs or your downloaded Skidrow version
Extract aIW-DLC1, aIW-DLC2 to your MW2 folder
Extract Patch 3 to your MW2 folder
Run alterIWnet_cofigure.exe to set your name
Run iw4mp.exe and let it update

basically i got alternet and played the bonus maps now i have a big problem i want to play the bonus maps on steam instead of alteriwnet can you help me

Just play aIW its better. I am pretty sure the methods of getting free DLC on steam are patched/never worked.
