[Tutorial] How to make Custom Scopes

I read in the tutorial that it has to be white (The actual crosshair) otherwise it would show up transparent in the game. I drew it green at first and it was transparent. Where do you change the color for it? Even if someone can show me a screenshot of what they did would help a lot.

The alpha channel needs to be white. The color channels are the ones you want to color.

Im not too familiar with Photoshop. How do you change the colors of the others? You mean the Red, Blue, Green channels right? That program is confusing to me lol. Sorry for asking so many noobish questions. Also what is there is no Alpha channel to begin with? The file im editing is weapon_red_dot_reflex_2.dds

problem 1 photoshop link not work
ok i try it with cs1
at save: too many channels
i deleted the alpha and saved it in D X T1
next problem is at the game: couldn't load image....
i followed the instructions one by one
i've done smting wrong?
I just wanted a flame camoed weapon :'(

Well i tried it because i wanted the beatiful warsaw camo, everything is fine until i need to fix CRC if i press execute 1time i am 4bytes short if i press it twice, the bytes match but then when i get ingame i get a camo which looks like colourfull squares(alot of em)

hey im new to texture modding and when i seem to open the dds file after converted i get this how do u make it like that? when i cant remove the other images and stuff?

@House please help, when convert the arctic came (or w/e camo i choose) and then try changing to dds when i open it in css i get an error (the file isnt correct or something )

Want me to make a vid of everything i do or do you know what im doing wrong already? i tried 3 different iwi2dds converters. all give me error when i try to opeen in photoshop.
if its any help, before i opened it with photoshop, after i converted the iwi files, i ended up with a abc.iwi.iwiout.dds (something like that, it wasnt just .dds)

anyway thx in advance. really fruststrating

Edit: switched to cs4 and still got "could not complete the request because it is not the right kind of document"

That is needed to have to texture edit.

ok dude do this open tools folder you should see a folder called photoshop plugin open the folder open the install program ok now click the i agree click next type some random text in those 2 boxes click dont subscribe click next now click the change button navigate to your photshop folder open it now you will see the plugins folder click it now click ok then click next and install now click finish now go in photshop and make a freakin sexy camo

EDIITTTT: for some reason when i tried to open alteriwnet it seemed as if i was reinstalling aiw(it prompted me to do the cheating thingy) furthermore when aiw finally loaded i got a black screen and then an error, "cant load weapon_camo_digital" ;(
