Another Tutorial by Martin! - Iron and Steel Dragons.

Hello guys!

This is another Tutorial by the one and only Super Martin.

This time, I'm going over the aspect of Dragon Hunting.

Why would you want to hunt Dragons you might think?

Fairly enough, to receive this:

The draconic Visage. Currently around 15-16mill?

Anyways, it's also a reasonable place to get charms .

Let's get started.

What are the most common ways to kill those bastards?
Mage was the most common way, when the Crossbow update came out, people preferred to range the fuckers because they could deal more damage, and it was cheaper.

What skill requirements should I have to get a decent kill ratio?
At least 50+ will get you some kills, but 70-75+ would be a LOT better.

A good set-up for a mage would be:
Welfare
-Mystic set, except for the gloves
-Chaos Gauntlets (Reward from the Family Crest quest)
-Seers' Ring (Only 400k'ish)
-Amulet of Glory (I prefer Amulet of Magic over Amulet of Glory, because it has a nice +10 magic attack bonus)
-Anti Dragon shield
-Fire staff
-Obsidian cape

Wealthy, high defense
-Full Zuriels
-Barrows Gloves
-Amulet of Fury
-Dragonfire Shield
-Zuriels Staff (Miasmic Barrage, otherwise Ancient Staff for Ice Barrage)
-Seers' Ring
-Fire Cape / Skillcape
-Infinity Boots

A good set-up for a Ranger would be:
Welfare
-Black D'hide chaps and body
-Archers Helmet
-Climbing Boots
-Rune Crossbow
-Emerald Bolts (E) (The enchantment is like a special attack. This one poisons the enemy for about 50-100 HP)
-Ava's accumulator
-Anti Dragon Shield
-Amulet of Accuracy
-Ring of Life

Wealthy, reasonable defense
-Full Morrigans (plus the javelins)
-Archers Boots
-Archer's Ring
-Fire Cape
-Dragonfire Shield
-Amulet of Fury
-Barrows' Gloves

Melee
I don't go through the melee part, because in my honest opinion, it's way less profitable for you than the other parts.

Inventory set-up, and where to begin
I always go for 5k GP, and depending if you range or mage, at least a LOT of antifire potions.
Mage-
5k GP, bronzen hatchet (because you can drop them later to have a free inventory spot), 2 magic potions (4), runes for your casts, about 100-200 nature runes (depending on the drops you'll be hoping to get, otherwise, 25-50 will do) 4 sharks, 2 prayer potions (4), teleport tablet (ardougne is what I prefer), fill the rest of my inventory with Antifire Potions.

Range-
5k GP, bronzen hatchet, 2 range potions (4), 500 fire runes, 100 nature runes, 4 sharks, 2 prayer potions (4), teleport tablet, and the rest of my inventory with antifire potions.

How to get there is fairly easy.
Just teleport to Ardougne, head a bit south-east, and you'll get to this guy called ''Captain Barnaby''. Talk to him, and for 30 GP you can sail to Brimhaven. Do it! Lol. Anyways, when you've arrived at Brimhaven, head a bit west till you're next to the building on your mini-map, then head south. You'll get to this awkward guy called "Saniboch". You'll have to pay him like 1k to get into the Dungeon where the dragons are. Go in, head north, chop the vines, head west, over the stepping stones at the lesser demons, head all the way south, if you can't go any further, head east, chop the vines again, go south, and you've arrived!

What now?
Easy. Before you head in, make sure you take a sip of your antifire potion.
If you did that, you can face the dragons!

Now, to be sure you don't die, make sure there's at least 1 tile between you and the dragon.
[b]Note: if you don't have an Ava's Accumulator, turn on your Melee prayer if you have to pick up your bolts, because those dragons can hit 150+ by melee'ing you!

End
Make sure you teleport back when you have 1 dose left.
Each trip will give you about a nice 150 to 550k profit. (Or maybe 17mill, depending on the fact if you get a Draconic Visage or not!)

Anyways, this was another product by Super Martin & CO©K.

I hope you enjoyed it, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me!

One change I might make is to get an Amulet of Ranging or Archery w/e it is. Its cheaper and gives a better range attack bonus.

True, but the point is, I make guides 100% off of my own knowledge, and I don't want to use other peoples' pictures, so yeah..
I'm not that rich, plus I don't have the levels for the items stated in my OP.

I still prefer range/mage over melee.

I know this isn't really relevant. But what's the best armour and weapon against frost dragons? Range, melee or mage I don't really care.

I might start playing this again.

If you want to melee those, make sure you get a good prayer bonus, using Initiate or veracs. If you can affort, and willing to be having a good strength bonus, use bandos. allso bring a dfs, anti fires, and prayer pots to pray melee. if you got 85 herblore, use super anti fire with rune defender. Allso bring fury, d boots, z ring etc. for more strength, more strength=faster kills. 1 super antifire=*±3 prayer pots.

Chaotic rapier is always a really good option for frost too and your profit makes up for the charges..

The wealthy high defense gear is something I've never seen before lol. Don't u think it's waste of money to buy zuriel when you can buy virtus/ahrims?
