why is this happening?

Every time I start a game or am re-spawned, I my gun shoots out 1 bullet without me doing anything at all. I know 1 bullet doesn't seem like much but it happens every time. any ideas why?

Did you try restarting the game? I think this happened to me before, I remember something similar.

Usually if you died shooting, you're still sending the "shoot a bullet plz" packet to the server, but the server can't do anything since you died. Then when you respawn, the server says "Ok, minus one bullet since you're alive now." and fires a bullet. There's really no way to get around this, except to stop shooting right before you die.

This happens to me every time I die. lol

It may sound stupid, but he's right. Happens to me all the time when I've died and was holding down the left mouse button. Basically I spawn shooting a hail of bullets at my teammates. It's especially a problem if you have a laggy computer and you're still holding the mouse button when you're already dead. If you're worried about it giving away your position (e.g. in one man army games) I'd advise buying a silencer.

Its a glitch that happens when you die while shooting. When you respawn, like you said, you shoot one bullet the moment you respawn. Its pretty dumb.
