Does CA Lag for you?

I'm running Vista Ultimate 32-bit here are my specs (i'm rated 2.4 on Vista):

Memory (RAM): 1.5 GB
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+, 2.2GHz
Grapics Card: Nvidia 6150 LE like 112MB memory

I LAG LIKE ABSOLUTEY SHIT. I think I may quit playing this game because I lag like crazzzyyyy.

I lag, but I've noticed that its always when I start mid game, or others (WHICH HAPPENS WAY TOO MUCH) join mid game.
Also, check to see if other programs are running, I don't know Vista, so I couldn't tell you how. I know if you check out other game sites (Quake 4 MMO for example) have info for speeding up lag time. (Once again, with Vista I'm fuckin' clueless).
For WinXP the Quake 4 site called for check disk and defrag, along with checking to see if other process's are running. I don't know if Vista has multiple login users, like windows. Sometimes they just switch users and not log off, and they leave programs open and running.

Same processor has OP, 512 megs. 256 gfx card. I lag incredibly. Can't run hacks because of so.

apparently, it doesn't look like RAM can be the only issue.

When you do a system restore, and it actually reinstalls windows does it like completely erase ALL your files and such? And then it will start like you just got the computer, but exactly the same? Like for example I did that system restore then I turn on my laptop and I still have CA and my other programs or no? I'm scared to do that lol.

I don't lag. but my comp is extremely slow.

I don't remember doing a system restore in over a decade. A system restore takes "snapshots" of you current system, and if there is a problem, can be used to restore your computer to an earlier workable state. If CA or any other current files are not part of the last restore point, they will be lost. Usually System Restore is used after an unstable or faulty/uncompatible old program, hardware, or a peripheral is installed. The registry is saved in the restore point, but I can't tell you how often they are saved.
