HP laptop has a problem with chargers.

Just go to google and type "HP NOT " and several results will appear

Not really their laptop battery are fine, once i forgot to plug the chord into my pc and it ran on my battery, after like 4 hrs of playing games i realized that it wasn't plugged in and at that time i still had 40%

Or maybe you fked something up in your power options, lemme check on my hp real quick gtg in like 5 min.

Try typing in the search at start menu, power options then click the recommended one and then advanced don't have time right now so i cant look at all of them hope it helps.

You can start off with buying a new charger. They run from $50-$150
Bring the laptop in and the current charger and they'll see what they can do. I had the same problem.

Before you do that, you can try different surge protectors with your current plug (never plug directly into walls)

In the charger:
The big bar thing where the little light is
It might there the problem is.

Put some tape around the bar not so tight

In the Plug:
Try cleaning it, it might be full of dust
Take a mini-Vacuum if u got or use a normal big vacuum
then clean it both in plug and under the pc (in the battery)

If it wont work use Another charger
or buy.

Just tell him the truth. It's probably a faulty battery or charger. If you're really that scared, find some money and replace the charger or battery. BatteryPlus sells a lot of laptop batteries.
