An Imam would be the equivalent of a pastor or a Priest..
not that I see eye to eye with the latter since I never really bought into the Catholic religion,
but either way, these are men that spend a great deal of time reading, deciphering, and trying to turn what a commoner would see in metaphors as gibberish, to sensible teaching that can be applied to everyday life. As I have stated before, I majored in Theology and have studied relentlessly of the three major religions, and even then I still didn't even come close to having the knowledge my pastor had of the Bible. So you saying that you don't need an Imam is pretty laughable, considering that you cannot even hold your own in this debate.
