When people scam you ... and even if there was a middleman nothing much can be done... if the scammer doesn't return money etc

I waited all day for a MM, but when they came on they were too busy to help. (I understand this completly)
but then i started a deal with a person and they sold me the account, i gave them the 75$ had 2 games, and then they hacked the account back. they were pretending to be nice and help me get it back, but then they logged.
i have proof, but i dont know where else to post this as i did not have an MM.
