Updating your client [Aiw2]

Do you need to download the maps to play again? I took a break from AIW for a long while and I came back and I got all these errors about files being missing so I reinstalled MW2 off the disc and then downloaded the client and put the files in MW2 directory. Now I have the AIW2.exe but not the maps and when I open the .exe it comes up with "couldn't find pacth_post_code" or some shit.. Please help :|

download the maps.. and put em in the zone\english folder. After this run aIW2.exe and let it update..Boom! joy aiw2...

k, just downloaded oilrig...turns out I already have both of the maps. when I run AIW2.exe it still says shit is missing and it wont update, how can I update it manually?

It's retarded, when I load up Mw2 it loads the console and almost the game but then it says "error: could not find code_post_gfx_mp.ff" then I press ok and it closes. Think that file has something to do with player stats but eh not sure. btw AIW doesnt auto update when I open the game like it should..

try to delete the folder caches, boostrap, and the file caches.xml and then run iw4mp.exe

It updated and replaced the files I deleted but still gave me the error

When i try to run the game from the aIW2.exe the screen turns dark and it says Pre-released demo and then a icon pop`s up and it says
