so my computer was just now completely trashed. i thought it was a virus. nope. i thought "what problem can make ur pc very slow, a virus scanner not even come up, gadgets (win7) to not load, and other problems like that?" either a virus (which would suck really bad cuz my virus scanner wouldnt even start) or a registry problem. i got ComboFix. it scanned it all and then when it was done it showed the log. then when i go to open firefox, the virus scanner, or even my computer, it all gives me an error. im like "NOOOOO". and was screwed. then i restarted it. same thing. restarted it again, did some BIOS settings crap. IT WORKED. time taken: 10 minutes (2 minutes of me figuring out what was wrong and the rest is the scan and restart/boot time)

i really should go into computer engineering like my mom said lol. i built 2 computers from scratch including this one im on right now.

csb IT? whattt? this randomly happened. I didnt download anything. i just have photoshop CS5 and combat arms on my pc. i havent done anything else. i mod for CA but that doesnt do anything with registry stuff.

i havent taken any classes at all so its not like im good at everything. but i can get a lot of stuff for free, and i know a lot of things except registry stuff. classes will teach me the stuff i havent taught myself.
im better at fixing comps then doing that registry stuff. thats y i got a program to do that for me.
and im good at hardware and figuring out whats broken/not broken and where/if the motherboard is fried, etc.

Hardware's basic handyman stuff. It's the software where you get to be a computer pro, since software problems are literally limitless.

My parents think I'm a genius with computers, but I only know basic programming, hardware details, etc (things MPGH taught me).
It's because they're clueless.

i know a hell of a lot more than that. i thought he meant IT as something else. and im way better with computers than all my friends and sister. my sister's bf is a little better than me, but yeah. i never said "IT specialist", i said cpu engineering. or i could just make a business that fixes them/sells them (since there's no business like that in my area except best buy which is expensive as hell.)

It's not hard to built a computer from scratch. there only about 5 piece you have to put together. Now the buying part is the hard part because it requires money .
