    Which graphics card should I buy for Black OPS?

    I just bought the game today, and to my surprise, its agonizingly slow. Even with reduced settings. My computer meets all requirements except the graphics card isn't good enough. Which one should I buy that is good for playing first-person shooter games? And which ones are best for the money?

    @Assassin DIP

    I want one that is a least a little bit better than the minimum requirement. Do you know which I could get?

    here's a sample list of prices within your budget,
    don't get anything under 1gb, and don't go under 560's or else it is a waste of money + won't be any good real soon, with upcoming titles.

    $200-$300 = GTX560 Ti's
    $300-$400 = GTX570's
    $400-$500 = GTX580's

    Depends on how much you're willing to spend. Bang-for-buck wise, Nvidia 9800GT and GTX 460 seem to be popular choices.

    If you're looking for one that's relatively cheap I'd go for an Nvidia Geforce 9800GT, one of the best bang-for-buck cards out there.

    This site is quite amazing. You can find the minimum required on the list and pick one above that.

    All my settings on lowest. I got about 3-5 FPS in Campaign or Multiplayer

    Maybe I should just buy MW2 and play that... I just really feel like I should try to save my $60

    Nevermind, I'm not buying a new graphics card. Way to fucking expensive. I could get a new lappy for the same price.
