to be honest mw3 has better background graphics and has a better storylines on the other hand bf3 has a more compeling multiplayer a way better engine espicaly with sniping unlike mw when u shoot behind som1 and u no u missed it still hits the guy. but in bf3 when u shoot and u no u miss u can see were ur bullet landed like i said bf3 has better engine and will run further than mw3 they still use the mw2 engine so b rdy for some upsets on both sides. i still and will only bf3 32 player matches ftw

MW3 is a storyline. BF3 is supposed to seem what real war may be like.

MW3 is not a completely new game because its not meant to be. You realize its MODERN WARFARE 3 NOT a new call of duty k? Battlefield is not continuing a story so yeah they made the game completely different. Infinity ward also want to keep the cod playing style. Battlefield is focused on explosions cod is focused on run and gun. Nuff nuff get over it and buy both games

Kinda like comparing Torchlight or Magicka to Diablo 2. They aren't the same sub-genre. Battlefield 3 is a Tactical FPS and MW3 is an Arcade FPS. Setting has nothing to do with genre.
