Well, all you guys have probably noticed by now.
(NB: Mw2 Liberation versions that have been tested: 4,5 & 6)

Steam Modern Warfare 2's version has been downgraded to 1.2.193
So MW2 Liberation is no longer working.

So do NOT post any threads about MW2 Liberation issues, not working, being gay etc.

If you want to mod or host, your only option is aIW.

Advantages of aIW include: the gameplay itself > steam. You can customize all game settings, mods are allowed, there are dedicated servers with great connections, it is 100% free, and it is better

Yes, there ARE hacks for aIW, the section for them is here. You can still be banned for them, so hack with caution.

Those of you still wanting to mod private matches etc can just replace the iw4mp in your MW2 folder (Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/modern warfare 2) with the old 1.2.208 one and you can use MW2 Liberation with that.

They have that function too, , but they didnt put it and I dont know how to unblock it.

Not really. Infinity Ward thought that mods ruined the game. After they released the game they realized there decision was wrong but it was too late to do anything about it, and Treyarch capitalized on this. Good thing though is that MW3 will probably allow mods like in BO.

Oh for fucks sake. I use a box hack for MW2 on XP and I use liberation to bypass VAC and not get caught.

Now I can't use the damn box hack.

IW was planning to release mod support, there's was even a menu for mod loading.
But the same thing was about dedicated servers, Activision didn't want it...
In short: No dedicated servers = no mods.

iam trying all the liberation versions at the moment v1.02 to v1.06 wont work cant find v1.0 or 1.1 yet so (v1.2 loaded the game almost i think maybe for a goodhacker the easest to modefie)
