The max for the Evie revamp return was a little over 15k. Like Nunya said, they're most likely just people that came back for Karok after a long afk.
Less likely, [only cause it's a lot of work unless you're botting] they could have also spammed Lago or some such over and over. If you get 30 runs or so/hour [2min runs accounting for lag -- golden balls+trans2 spam for 1hko+invinc], gets you 600 AP/hour. Leave the bot going for 20 hours would get you 12k.
