I was just wondering how many folks here have actually released a hack/bypass versus the number of people that just leach and yak.
I'm not saying either way is good or bad... Just wondering about the ratio
Hacker: and I've released stuff here
Hacker: I keep my stuff private
Leacher: .. but I'm working on becoming a hacker
Leacher: Free stuff is good!

I guess i'm a Leacher .. but I'm working on becoming a hacker!
What amazes me about this concept is that so many people seem to be of the opinion that hacks for games should not be provided to the public and that there's some sort of negative stigma attached with downloading one and not "contributing" in any way.
I have a number of points to illustrate on this:
1) If you do it right, there should not be a need for more than one program. It's really that simple.
2) Some people just honestly want to try them out to see what they do.
3) Not everyone is a programmer. Not everyone is going to learn programming. They do other things. Not everyone plays basketball, not everyone plays drums, not everyone likes milk. It's just really that way.
Quite frankly, I'm disturbed that people put so much effort into cheating at a video game. At a free video game, none the less. While it may be a minority, it still has a pretty significant impact on the average player and completely breaks game balance - removing a hefty portion of player 'skill' from the equation. Then again, here I am...so take that as you will.
I await the "ur gay" comments from the overwhelming amount of 12 year olds that populate this board.

i am a leacher atm and do not really have enuf talent of time to develop a hack but also i do not go around flaming who is better than who just becoz they are smart and know these things
Leechers = Epic win over Hackers. Too many leechers.
I just want to make a quick point
- If everyone here was able to write their own hacks, what would be the point of these forums? Why would anyone have any reason to upload their software?
Just something to think about.
some choobs piss me off
i categorize it as this:
hacker - someone who does his own work or helps others
leaker - someone who releases other people's work
downloader - someone who has EARNED the right to use hacks by means of assisting, attempting, or succeeding in making something useful other than a video tutorial of how to right click an exe. TUTORIALS ARE NOT USEFUL.
leecher - someone who downloads stuff and is only here for that reason.
worthless scum - someone who goes "GIMME HAX CUZ ALL PATCHED KTHXBAI!" or "email me aimbot @ iamabitch@amirite.orgy", equally anyone who needs a tutorial, pic tut, or video tut on how to double click an exe.
btw guys, a video tutorial of someone opening notepad and typing the steps is not a video tutorial, its simply a video of the text. type the text, fuck those who cant read it.
i consider myself a hacker yet i never release stuff due to the undeserving people mass downloading then abusing in game going "omg im super great" like this idiot godmoder yesterday who came in and got 22-0 (compared to my 76-18) and goes "OMG OWNED YOU GUYS SUCK!!!"... really?
rofl i did 21-0 without hax
I reckon, even if you download anyones hacks, you should thank them for having a try unless its a virus or a leaked hack.
Some people are new to hacking, and may not get it right. It happened to my when i started making small hacks, like Teleport for Maple.
Its just annoying when you have like 500 downloads and like 10 people have thanked you. Its a a feeling that you suck when you first start out hacking.
