Few Questions

Hello, i'm a bit new to this whole runescape bots thing, i have a few questions that i hope some of you experienced players can answer for me.
Question 1: Was browsing through the forums and came to a thread called "post your auths" what is the point in these people posting they're 15+ dollers for other people to use and then have them banned within 10 hours?

Question 2: Do these people buy these auth's or do they use special programs to get the auth's?

Question 3: I have used 1 auth and had it working all day yesterday, i have recently got a message saying "there was an update" i didn't click to update but instead did my research, i went on the forums and came to find out that there were no recent updates... so i thought to myself maybe its the illegal auth that i used the other night. I didnt bother to update and my bot is still running as im typing this, anyways my question is. If i dont update the client will i come to any problems? because i know for a fact that if i do update, i will not be getting an update but a ban on my auths, and is it safe to not update these bots or will it increase my ban rate on Runescape itself?

Question 4: what are these so called "cracked" bots, are they some sort of bots where a programmer hacked into and made it so you don't need an auth code in order to run? if so are they safe to use?

I'll do my best to answer all of your questions, although I am not such a botter myself.

1/2) The majority of these Auth Codes are hacked, or bought and then refunded. After being refunded the PayPal email will be blacklisted, which means members providing the Auth Codes are continously creating new PayPal accounts
(Refunding can be done here)

3) The update will just blacklist all Auth Codes that were found the other day, you should not update.

4) These are Cracked Scripts, basically leaking the script so you don't have to purchase it anymore. However, most download links found in YouTube aren't safe to use.

1. These auth. codes are usually hacked. It's like using a keygen for a program like Photoshop.
2. Refer to above.
3. Updates usually help decrease ban rate because they usually fix problems that cause you to get banned in the first place. If you were using an illegal auth, updating or not, it won't really matter. You can always find another one.
4. I'd stay away from cracked bots. They might contain a virus and you probably won't even know it. Usually, when something's cracked, it'll come up as a virus to your anti-virus. I'm not completely sure why that is, though. However, if it comes up as a virus, you won't know exactly why. Don't download them unless they're trusted.
