Don't know what to do now, need some advice other than the thing I notice (but can't seem to figure out what to do)
Lighting on Render
Empty Space on right side
Back left side of render doesn't click well with the C4D.

Try to fill up the background as much as possible, and also clean up the tag since it seems messy and LQ. Looks like it also needs some finishing, just add a gradient layer and set it to lighten.

I've shared some shitty non-tutorial work before, only like 1 or 2 tags, and joined about 2 SOTW's but those were crap work, only my abstract image was pretty good but Tinypic deleted it T_T.

Well, then that is a really bad gradient map you got there. Set it to lighten, change opacity to 100%, fill to 35%

Just try to fill it up some more.

Try adding a fractal or a sparkle/stars C4D on the right side, just make sure it goes with the flow. Just experiment and see what happens!
Can I have your PSD? Just wanna check what you added to it.
And are you sure this is your first sig?

edit: I've been using Photoshop for like almost 3 years now on and off, but only made like less than 10 tags before, and those were horrible because they were always just 1 render and a downloaded font and I whored the Filters. I always shyed away from tags though because I do prefer commercial graphic design (logos, etc but i said... what the hell, this'll help me learn more parts of photoshop

What small changes would those be, like some effect layers, lighting tweaks, some small fractals / C4D's? Vector brushes ? what what =/
