Combat Arms is entering its third year in grand style with a host of great third anniversary events and lots of prizes to be won by intrepid soldiers! We've got all new Daily Jobs to earn items not available anywhere else in the game. Bubba has some tricks up his sleeve with a newly forged weapon. He is also customizing more weapons than ever before. Have some NX Standard weapons sitting around collecting dust? Sell them back for GP! Crash an infected party with the all new GP launcher, the M79. Check out the details below!



Daily Jobs

Daily jobs are special missions given on a daily basis upon logging into the game. Players who complete the mission designated for that day will receive a unique item that cannot be obtained elsewhere in the game. Missions vary from day to day and completing them will earn a range of rewards including free weapons, free equipment, and time extensions to NX weapons.





Third Anniversary Events

Dog Tag Hunt

Login everyday to receive a MYST-Combat supply case.

This case will contain dog tags with C. O. M. B. A. or T. Collect all the letters to spell "COMBAT" and you'll earn an Elite 3rd Anniversary Cap Box, which contains a 1, 3, or 7 day Elite 3rd Anniversary Cap. You can earn additional MYST-Combat supply cases through completing Daily Jobs.

Through all new Daily Jobs you will be able to earn a MYST-Arms supply case, which contains A.R.M. or S. Collect all the letters to spell "ARMS," turn in the daily job and you'll earn an Elite 3rd Anniversary Bandana Box, which contains a 1, 3, or 7 day Elite 3rd Anniversary Bandana.

Collect all the dog tags to spell "COMBAT ARMS," and you'll earn an Elite 3rd Anniversary Backpack Box, which contains a 1, 3, or 7 day Elite 3rd Anniversary Backpack.

Try your luck with the all new MYST-CA3, which is taking over for the retired MYST-Delta for a chance to recieve the "3rd" dog tag. The MYST-CA3 has all of the same items as the MYST-Delta but includes the "3rd" dog tag.

Spell out "COMBAT ARMS 3RD" to earn the Azazel Box. The Azazel Box contains either a 90 day or a 1 year LIMITED SPECIAL EPIC Azazel assault rifle!



Once you have collected all of the dog tags turn them in to Bubba in the Gun Emporium.


3rd Anniversary Daily Job

Be sure to play Combat Arms on weekends (July 2-3, 9-10, and 16-17) July 4th and July 11th for a rare Daily Job that will only be available on those dates. Complete that job and earn 1 day with the EPIC Azazel. Each day's Daily Jobs need to be completed in order. The first available job must be completed to unlock the second and so on.

Login each day leading up to the official Combat Arms Anniversary on July 11th to receive all new Permanent 3rd Anniversary Gear!

July 9th - Login for a Permanent 3rd Anniversary Backpack
July 10th - Login for a Permanent 3rd Anniversary Cap
July 11th - Login for a Permanent 3rd Anniversary Bandana

Jobs

New Weapon Upgrade Jobs are now available through Bubba in the Gun Emporium. Improve your existing weapons by using them on the battlefield to upgrade to a Mark II version. Upgrade jobs include missions such as killing a certain number of enemy players with that weapon to earn the right to exchange the weapon for an upgraded Mark II version. The Mark II retains the same duration as the original weapon. Read more about Upgrade Jobs and Mark II weapons here.

Sell Back NX Standards for GP Thanks to the popularity of the Rare NX weapon sell back program, we have brought it back and made it better. Under the new program, soldiers will be able to sell back both NX Rare and NX Standard weapons for GP from the inventory AND the inbox. We have also increased the GP exchange rate, offering more GP for the same weapons!



New GP Weapon
Say hello to our new little friend, the M79 Launcher. This delightful little party-wrecker is available at Command Sergeant Major I.



New Recruit Packages
Have you ever wished you could have more of your friends playing with you in Combat Arms? Wish no more! Let your friends know that from now on, all new accounts will be gifted aRecruit Package I, free! If they login again 8-14 days after first logging in they will receive Recruit Package II. If they login again a third time after 15 or more days, they will receive Recruit Package III. For 7 days new recruits can enjoy an Assault Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Face Gear, Vest and a Pistol from within each package!

Nexon Guard

Nexon Guard is an abnormal gameplay detection tool being released with this update.

Bug Fixes
- Customized Sniper Rifles with the Barrel Type A or Barrel Type C attached now properly have spread when fired unscoped.
- Forged Weapons now properly stack their duration when forged a second time.
- The Achievements Tab now properly deactivates when uploading a video to YouTube.
- Fixed issue with Roulette buttons being non-functional if a player ranked up from the completed match.

Other Changes and Compensations
- Manufacturing Maddness rewards distributed.
- Compensated those that received a weapon from a MYST Supply Case of which they already owned the permanent duration. One Supply Case GP-Hazard was distributed to all players that owned at least one permanent weapon and had the same weapon of any duration in their Inbox.
- The Guitar Gun and the Box Gun can no longer be forged.
- Sniper Rifles in Recreation Servers (Papa) now have spread when fired unscoped.
- The Roulette Wheel no longer contains Paper or Screw Forging Hardware; now contains the new Water Forging Hardware item.
- Players can now upgrade Customization Hardware using Exchange Jobs in the Gun Emporium:

- 3x 10% Customizations of the same type -> 1x 30% Customization of the that type.
- 6x 30% Customizations of the same type -> 1x 50% Customization of the that type.
- 9x 50% Customizations of the same type -> 1x 70% Customization of the that type.
