Make sure you are warmed up well before getting out there; this includes stretching and doing short practice sprints (not full 100m maybe 25m). Although, don't tire yourself.
Then it's down to your good starts and hand-offs.
Obvious shit like sleep early the night before, eat a good breakfast, shit like that...

Hmm... I have a pretty good start... but the only thing we can do is do stretches before out races because everyone sits down and watches the race.. so i can only stretch and jog on the spot...
Sleeping early gives me a headache :/

4.have fun
AND MOST IMPORTANT START FLAMING WHEN YOU GET TO THE LINE WHERE YOUR ABOUT TO RUNand long jump right before you run hop and run
Eat well the day before, and DO NOT EAT BEFORE U RUN.
