hey, i'm new here

hey everyone

so there i was, sniffing around the internet trying to find some romhacks and help on spriting, and then i stumbled across this forum right here(in fact i found a topic that related to neither of those subjects, it was about roms in general), so i went to look around a bit and i thought "this place looks awesome" so i registered and here i am :P

anyways, yes, it looks like this is a really active community, by the looks of it, there are several thousand people online at this very moment, which probably makes this one of the most active forums i've ever registered on,

so, my nickname is sirius)(black, which it has been for nearly 10 years(as a wild guess), yes, it is from sirius black from the HP books, but the brackets are from someone's nickname who was a friend of mine around the time i made the nickname, which was jack)(ass,

anyways, apart from that i'm an it student, 19 years old, kind of ranty in this post, bad at audio/graphics design, yet still an indie game designer(even though i've never actually finished a one-man game project (because of the game/audio design stuff), HOWEVER, i have a (more or less) finished serious game which i made with a small group of people as a school assignment, 2 games in-the-making (1 is in beta stages but it has ripped sprites, and 1 in pre-alpha which has a lot of non-sprite based graphics), a demoscene demo in the making for which a friend of mine should be making a song to sync to and a mostly abandoned 3d game engine(i got stuck at implementing a physics engine and was working on that with a partner that until that point had not only not written a single line of code, but has also refused to draw a simple background for the console i'd made for debugging

and now i will stop ranting because i think this explains who i am more than enough

i guess i'll be getting a lot of TL;DR's for this, but oh well,
